Noticed in the trailer for next week, looks like they have the winner from a few years ago back doing Claudes job? Claude maybe stayed in Antigua topping up the tan? biggrin

Lord Sugar (in the boardroom): "you're all going to Antigua"

Smash Cut

All the contestants are now in Antigua wearing the same outfits they were wearing in the 'Canary Wharf' boardroom

Probably had to miss a couple of episodes for medical reasons after his E-bike accident.

On a similar note, at the start of show they show several clips of future episodes therefore you they're not going to fired on the first task.

That was eye candy? Perhaps if you like surgical enhancements and heavy use of cosmetics.
Admittedly I was scraping the bottom of the barrel somewhat there. Indeed there is only one of the girls team I find attractive.

Haven't watched it yet but the comment about the poor visual appeal of the female competitors this year has me worried.

That's one of the few reasons left for watching it, IMHO.

I wonder if this happened during one of her "parties"?

Yes, I do. I'm disappointed that one of the better looking ones has gone.

I've finally sussed this programme out. Those that can make a success of starting and running a business don't need to go on this show as they're already doing it.
Indeed. There was one wanging on about how they already have a £1M, nearly £2M business - if that was true, they wouldn't be wasting their time with this.

I've always watched it and I am sure I will watch again.

Has anyone ever gone on to actually do well out of it. Multi millionaire type status with a big Surrey / Cheshire house, fleet of cars the trappings of wealth type thing?

Joseph Valente lost it all and went bust iirc.

Did the Aussie climbonline do quite well? What about Tom Pellerau.

Stuart Baggs really was quite unforgettable.

I don't think the £250k in this day and age is really all that great.
I think someone on the OneShow yesterday said that Sugar claims about 5 of the people who had won, 'he had made millionaires'.
Not much chat to support that claim.
Not sure how true this is but some have made a good few quid:

So I had a peek at Susie Ma's accounts for her company Tropic Skincare. The last year t/o was £90million with operating profit of £10.5million - go girl!

The women this year are ridiculously irritating. I wouldn't be able to concentrate in that environment at all I would be driven insane.

Shame the fit one got booted though biggrin

There is usually 1/2 women on this that make me want to watch it, this year not really. One of the contestants lives locally to me.

Shannon Martin.
She barely featured in the first episode, they let the obvious loons thrash it out.
Her Bridal business looks genuine and well established. Why she would go on The Apprentice is a mystery.
I would be tempted to back her if there were odds available!

i know its fake, i know the commission customers are pre prepped but nonsence when the person said 5%-7% and the boys said 25% and she wasnt offended.

This really misses the original charm of actual deal getting made.
The guy they were dealing with as well.... "I'd normally do 1 or 2%", then HIS next offer was around 10%. Wtf? rofl

Likewise, the apparent travelling back the next day and all being in the boardroom without a hint of jetlag. Rubbish.

Same time next week?

I just thought she was embarrassed to be associated with it and was trying to disguise herself.

Look at most TV shows - and the outfit of the protragonists is the same throughout the scenes- it helps the editor a tiny bit with the continuity - and turning dull scenes funny by throwing in reactions recorded earlier/ later than the real ones.

Catching up on this tonight. A vast selection of dogs, both girls and boys. And one 'girl' looks like she wasn't born that way.

If ever there was a guy who you look at and just want to punch in the face.
You just want him to retaliate by firing his cannon all over you dont you ?
