Seen 1 episode so far and liked it, great eighties vibe. Lots of car porn.

I saw the title and immediately started singing the song.

I've only seen the first episode but there's so much potential.

Who else spotted Paul Weller at the start when the title song was playing.

Yep.
Yes - it was just like he’d wandered into the episode while out with the dog.
Enjoyed it too - as said, great 80s feeling. Hope it doesn’t get too silly.

Up to episode 3.

Only things spoiling it so far are the terrible/ clichéd acting of ‘Mint Ma’ and the CGI backgrounds.

Love it 3 episodes in, just the dad n mum not convincing at all but it’s hardly serious stuff so it’s ok.

Ah the backstory from episode 4 makes it v interesting

For anyone who, like me, loves the soundtrack, Sky have very thoughtfully put together a playlist on Spotify

Seen the first two, great fun and awesome soundtrack.
It was like I was there again (except I lived in Nottingham at the time)
I loved my Sergio, Fila, Elesse etc.
Even the missus enjoyed it and she generally hates anything like that.

Took me a while to realise the Matriarch is Martha Plimpton. We’re a long way from The Goonies.

Great stuff, but I’m still trying to work out how you can suffocate someone with a pillow when they have an oxygen tube up their nose?

Cracking stuff - watched them all over the weekend.

Coming from Nick Love, who has such a great background in retro 80's stuff (The Business as a prime example) this was always going to be good and for me, it didn't disappoint.

Spotted Nick Love's name in the credits and it looks like he's dusted off the entire wardrobe from The Business, a film I watch on a regular basis, loving the music and the clothes, I might be digging out the Fila BJ from the back of the wardrobe. paperbag

I read somewhere that it's losely based on The Business, and there's certainly similarities. In fact some scenes and storylines are very close!

80's Casual Classics have a 'Town called Malice' sale on at the moment! https://www.80scasualclassics.co.uk/sale/a-town-ca...

Tempting as it is it's doubtful that a 60 year old with a paunch could pull it off so I'll give it a swerve.
