I presume there is a big overlap between PHers and listeners of the Smith & Sniff podcast.
(If you haven’t listened to the S&S podcast then you have a treat in store!)

I have been away for the past few days and so saved up the latest podcasts to listen to whilst driving, this kept me entertained and made the journeys pass much faster.

OTSOT the downside was that I missed the announcement of the Bristol live event and the tickets are now sold out.

If anyone has a spare ticket please let me know.

I may have a spare, I will let you know, just need to confirm with the third person as to whether they are definitely coming.

I have now secured a ticket, thanks James.

If anyone here has not listened to the S&S podcast then I can highly recommend it, some funny chat and now and again they even get round to talking about cars!

Always find it a good listen, they constantly joke about how they never talk about cars.

Their website even has a section explaining the in jokes: https://smithandsniff.com/faq.html

Looking forward to next week's already but until then, see you then, drive safe, good night.

They've just this afternoon released tickets to an additional live London show/podcast, after the original sold out.

To Patrons only at the moment.

If you (or anyone else) still has that spare, I'm interested.

Finally a spot to talk about this so it doesn't get mixed into the Late Brake Show thread.

I've known about this Podcast for year, but only just got into it recently. I'm racing through the back catalog but really enjoying them.

The perfect amount of car beard mixed with my perfect sense of humor.

Current favourite moments are 'Steam Rally Wrong'uns' and the 'Rally drivers with normal jobs' hehe

Check out "I'm a hustler baby" the rant about the incompetence of Thomas the Tank Engine and Postman Pat about 10 minutes into that had me in tears

"I'll get the Ekranoplan out!" laugh

Clown in a Bedford Rascal story had me crying laughing and the steam rally stuff is gold! Also remember them joking about a town somewhere (Burton Latimer was it?) sounding like a South African bloke with a sketchy family history that was pretty funny. I also found 'Richard Pictures' waaaay funnier than it should have!

Also worth giving their YouTube a sub as on top of the podcasts that get uploaded they occasionally drop the odd video on there like the one they did driving around London looking for 'old money' cars and the one they did driving to the Bond premiere.

The one where a lada was being driven through the factory at high-speed just next to the production line was funny and quite mad.. not all countries health and safety are equal...

Loved the Chode gearlever references recently and Full Suspension Mountain Bike Guy as a recurring theme. They regularly have me spitting coffee. Porter's laugh is sensational.

Porter is hilarious when he cracks up- I've got so much time for that guy, so much of what made TG great (in it's day) came from him.

You can really pick out his humour on the older Top Gear episodes once you've heard the podcast.

Yeah, and he wrote the official Top Gear books, and his own '...And On That Bombshell' about the series is a brilliant read.

Does anyone have a spare ticket for Bristol by any chance?

I have one but my daughter has decided that she would like to come along as well.

Thanks in advance

S&S podcast regularly has me laughing out loud. It's a true gem. Just the right mix of car chat, toilet humour and general irrelevance.
