From listening to the latest episode it sounds like they’ve been having a read of the VW ID GTI thread.

I love how Richard tears strips out of the silly hyperbole that internet car people come out with.

This week's episode is a good one.

Who did you think he was going in on? It seems someone riled him, it was a superb rant.

I've been walking 2-3 hrs each day to help lose weight and I've been working my way through from episode 1 as I walk. Most enjoyable, the time flies by.

Thanks Richard, thanks Jonny.

Yeah, I’d dipped in and out over the years, but went through them linearly starting a few months ago.

All caught up now too. Great to be able to send them things on topic!

Can't bear Porter's incessent use of the word 'onteresting' for things that 'interest' him. Imagine living with him!

That’s onteresting. It doesn’t bother me.

Onteresting that you say that- I don't mind it really.

(Wasn't fussed on this week's episode- far too much about that floorplan swapping stuff).

...but where else can one go for your floorplan based japery or Coors band members car content? The levels of geekery in the listener feedback are something to be appreciated as a community of people who listen to this.

Agreed, and generally I'm a big fan, but they just went on far too long with it this time and lost me.

Spending so long talking about cars that would obviously never work in a swap (wheelbase 4” out, Disco/RR etc.) seemed a bit of a waste of time.

Don’t panic. I’m sure they’ll be back talking about important stuff, like what car Brian Blessed drives soon.

It actually slightly annoys that they keep apologising for talking about cars.

I *want* to have deep discussions on the last time they saw a Xedos 6, the way that K10 Micra engines always sound, or why the 4th gen Honda Accord had clear headlights years before any other car.

I think if Brian Blessed is going to drive soon, it'll probably be in something he has already.
