Flemington's memory is so poor I will be amazed if he finds his way home when he leaves court.
Anyway, when is Susan Crichton giving evidence?Based on this testimony she is clearly the one to speak to.
She already has, but couldn't remember much either. Except being very unhappy, excluded from things and having to leave.Anyway, when is Susan Crichton giving evidence?Based on this testimony she is clearly the one to speak to.

I'm sure she could and should have done more, but she came out of this with less discredit than Vipers Inc IMHO.
Interview after interview is pretty much the equivalent of determined and reptitive"No comment" responses except on the occasion where is a clear "Get out of jail" fact with supporting evidence and then the recollection is crystal clear.
I'd suggest that some have been rigorously coached to play that game whilst some, who maybe have been selected as the fall guys, have not.
Frankly I cannot imagine how the strongest and most determined CEO and senior management team could sort this embedded culture without a complete clear out of many layers of the organisation.

They'll have done their witness statements with the benefit of legal advice and coaching (same as those in any other enquiry of this type/scale). Many of them face potential criminal and civil actions if they implicate themselves when there was otherwise insufficient evidence.I'd suggest that some have been rigorously coached to play that game whilst some, who maybe have been selected as the fall guys, have not.

I dread to think how many emails and phone messages have been deleted over the years.

I was about to post similar, it is utterly disgusting to watch someone sit there and outright lie, knowing that everyone watching will know that they are lying and have such faulty memory unless it benefits them.I'd suggest that some have been rigorously coached to play that game whilst some, who maybe have been selected as the fall guys, have not.

I am also of the opinion that Mr Flemington is using 210 211 as date years as some tedious legal way of being able to avoid being caught in a date trap.
Complete waste of time.
Why aren’t ’the law’ (whoever) able to interrogate (get specialists on it) all the servers independently to find deleted emails / scripts / logs / information? Bearing in mind all these muppets are lying speaking to them is a waste of time and they’ve deleted all what they can.

We appear to be into "Legal Week", with trained, even qualified legal types in the firing line, so I was expecting a bit of variety, and less "I can't remember/don't recall/wasn't there/not me, guv".
I'm disappointed so far, and feel that Sir Wyn, who comes across as a decent sort of chap, should make the point that the purpose of the inquiry is to find out what happened, not listen to a lot of white noise and apologies about the collective amnesia epidemic which appears to have pervaded Post Office HQ.
And who composed the scripts for the so-called "Helpline"? Because whoever did that must have had a good idea of the extent (and possibly origin) of Horizon's problems. I see that we're going to have four whole days of Gareth Jenkins (Distinguished Engineer at Fujitsu, according to his billing) beginning 25 June. Perhaps somebody could ask him.

After not recalling almost anything at all for the best part of 3 hours, this guy has the stones to try and apologise and say he hopes his appearance will help the inquiry.
Haven't seen the whole inquiry - has anyone recalled less yet?
I suspect Jarnail part 2 coming up soon might get close.
