No need!!!
If they'd have really gone into it they'd have known that the dude they interviewed is actually called Paul! not Tre.

This lot behave like they don't even want it or care if they get it! The comment earlier about actors is pretty plausible!

Both Flo and Tre who a lot of people would have had pegged for the final were a shambles. Neither had thought about their idea, and both are in saturated markets with strong, and established competition.

I think Paul the dentist was genuine in the boardroom, his medical smock idea was crap and not thought through at all. I hope he does well with his second practice. He should stick to what he knows.

I think Phil will win as he has more of an established business, and has money there in his accounts.

The gym / studio idea from Rachel is massively saturated. I can't see where that is going? Showing her in gym gear and doing a mini workout before she read her plan through had no relevance, almost as bad as when one a few years ago got in the swimming pool to rehearse.

I don't understand pieman's position. Didn't they say the budsiness had 800k cash in the bank, even though they made a loss last year? In which case why is he trying to give away half of the family business for 250k?

We need the balance sheet. Cash in the bank is only part of the equation.

Assuming this is Phil the Pieman's company then it seems absolutely bonkers giving up 50% of the company for £250k

I know right... I was really getting pished off when she kept asking about it. When she made Trey cry after saying "It must be hard losing your brother"... wtf? I could understand if his pitch or product was related, e.g. "to prevent the tragic incident my brother faced" - but it's entirely unrelated.

On a side note, I have the hots for Claudine.

Sir A tried to nick half the dentists business and I actually think he did well to say no.
They do that on Dragons Den too:

-- Hey, I have this amazing new product which I want you to invest in

Is your big fancy successful business part of it?
-- No

I'm out then

I thought the interviews were tame compared with previous years.
I agree but I am glad it wasn't fake nastyness and tension. I enjoyed it when it was warranted, but the classic from last year where someone said "Thank's Karen" and she said "that's baroness brady to you" was cringey. There were also times where it was just a bit over-the-top.

You can tell it's tame when they rip them apart for a rubbish logo. Or for something minor.

Well that took some unexpected turns, with both the general favourites Tre & Flo being booted out.

Who'd have though Simon the Pie man would make it to the final? Lord Sir Sugs must have always liked his business idea from the beginning to have never fired him each of those times he was in the boardroom?

20 minutes later interviewer has researched entire comptetition and other brands and made a juice drink...

Pies have potential as everyone has said. Gyms are saturated. not that it still couldnt be successful like new hairdressers are.

Maybe they should combine the two - piegym?

Well I did my usual TIKTOK rundown of the final 5 and Phil the finalist commented on it. Sadly he didn’t say if he’d won.

Private equity recruitment is very niche….

Surely one of the hardest to break into and massively based on old boys network, lots of Jonty Bonty, did you see Cuthbert at the shoot, we used to break wind for our college etc.

Pieman is actually quite likeable. Compared to some of the other bullstters he's actually doing something & running a real business. When you looked at the others they were dreamers that were completely uninvestable. .In the earlier series where Sugar was looking for somebody to employ rather than invest in I think you would be looking at different finalists

It is worrying that Pieman hasn't seen his management account for 6 months or so though!

Well my prediction of Tre and Flo in the final was a bit wide of the mark wasn't it? I mention that so as to have my excuses ready in case my current prediction also goes wrong - Phil the pieman for the win.

So what if he's had almost as many consecutive losses as Red Bull have had consecutive wins? He's the only one whose actually running a business - all the others are just ridiculous pies in the sky.

(Pun intended.)

To be fair to Phil, it was the teams he was on that lost the challenges, he just happened to be on those teams.

After Phil had been in the boardroom twice, any team leader with any sense would tactically choose to take Phil into the boardroom with them as it would be a safe bet that Lord Sir Sugs would fire him. I think every team leader did the same. I don't thing Phil was any worse than any of his other team mates. Lord Sir Sugs must have thought his business had something as he never fired him and kept giving him chances.

Just caught up on the last episode, so disappointed Tre and Flo rocked up with such poor ideas.

I agree that Phil is probably the one for the win as his idea is the only one that's got any legs but he's been useless in the show and his decisions in his own business seem to echo that. No vision, no ability to adapt or make informed decisions.

Tre was clearly a favourite on the show the outpouring from pretty much everyone about what a nice guy he was nice to see.

I think Lord Siralan suspects Phil the Pieman has undervalued his business and fancies getting himself a slice at a bargain price. Nothing to do with performance throughout the tasks in the show.

I think Lord Sir Sugerness secretly farms the failed candidates and harvests their energy to power his Rolls Royce.
