The Apprentice 2024
Discussion
Well that was a bit of a damp squib really. Sir Alan didn't even believe in mail order pies as a concept, and it turned into a begging contest at the end.
Let's hope they totally overhaul the process and tasks now, it's been a good run but it's had its day with those tasks we've seen time and time again.

I think the BBC could combine The Apprentice with Gladiators. Let's hope they totally overhaul the process and tasks now, it's been a good run but it's had its day with those tasks we've seen time and time again.
Phil, like Paul the dentist, would have been a mug to let half of his business go for a measly £250k ...a worse deal than seen on Dragons' Den ...so, perhaps he needed an 'out' strategy too.
The publicity won't have done him any harm, we're headed for one of his shops for pies this Saturday.

Absolutely would try his online pies if available amd reasonable delivery. Surely a supermarket will offer him placement now anyway? The publicity won't have done him any harm, we're headed for one of his shops for pies this Saturday.

Or traitors? Menage a trois? Weekly winner gets to murder a fellow competitor and the losing team have to run a Gladiators course, slowest gets fired? (Patented)

How much lol! They'd better be the worlds best pies at 6 quid for a tiddler :-)Two family pies plus delivery is £34 quid, perhaps Sir Alan had a valid point, I can sit in our local and have beautiful home made pie chips n peas for two for the same cost !

Don't look at the cost of the side dishes then!
I did ! Ouch! To be fair, their products do look lovely, and he's already got a profitable business that didn't actually need Lord Sugar in any way. He's probably got a better chance of selling more product now anyway with fresh interest locally etc, perhaps nationally as mentioned. The gym idea to me will only ever be a few more locations in the North, there's a gym on every corner now in most towns. She was a strong candidate and deserved it in the end, but probably the absolute best of a bad bunch of ideas.
