Very excited there's another Alien movie, and another horror as well!

Can't wait!

Well it can't be worse than the previous 2 Alien films and the trailer looks promising.

Just looking at that trailer. It's rubbish, the usual defy the laws of physics CGG. CGG is destroying any chance of a decent story being invisaged by film makers, they just concentrate on CCG as the selling point. Dier situation in the film industry from start to finish nowadays. Just think of the work of art the original was.

It looks like a remake of the original from the trailer.

Don't Breathe and Evil Dead were decent so this might actually be good.

I’m looking forward to this. I will caveat this with the statement that I enjoyed Megashark vs Giant Octopus.

Let me guess, almost everyone gets wiped out in the first five minutes leaving a few stragglers including a female survivor who, after the other stragglers are picked off, smashes the main alien and escapes...

So is the Prometheus story just over? Was anything at all ever really resolved or explained? I can’t honestly remember because those films were so frustratingly bad.

This looks ok but I’m conscious about how much they can get out of another ‘alien is in the ship with humans and they die one by one’ deal

I think it must be. This seems to be between Alien and Aliens from what I can tell (and also seems to be back to the general theme of the series, as opposed to Prometheus which went very left-field)

Looks like Aliens for the Stranger Things generation.

Old school horror would have made a single face hugger fearsome.. There's no suspense build up or sense of fear when you see 10-20 burst through the door.

It has AVP requim vibes, sadly.
