I've got a Freeview box - I've been away for 10 days and it's recorded 5 episodes of Traffic Cops (old ones). When I checked the schedule guide it reckons Monday 8pm is still Traffic Cops. All very odd.

Oh good, my box didn't record either of the new episodes last night, but has recorded two old Traffic Cops, and failed to record Motorway Cops. I'm glad it's not just mine.

Just checked mine and my Tivo box didn't record Traffic Cops but did Motorway Cops, checked my series link and it is showing as nothing will record rolleyes

Edit as just started to watch Traffic Cops from yesterday evening on catch up......it's a repeat!

Remember the one with the biker who speeds off then the traffic cop gets gobby with his fellow riders threatening them with PCOJ ?

Nothing next week as C5 will be running their week long Spring On The Farm series.

In relation to the missing "new" episode last night, earlier in the day it was still showing a description for a new episode including a driver being followed and then found to have no insurance, licence, high on cannibis & alcohol, but by the evening it had changed to an episode from the first season. Last time that happened on C5 was an episode of Interceptors about 18 months / 2 years ago when they had to pull an episode at late notice due to a "content issue" - that episode never resurfaced later but the description at the time referenced the firearms squad dealing with a criminal gang / network takedown so the pull was likely related to that - maybe a court case deferral, etc? Maybe something similar with the missing Motorway Cops episode from Monday.

Guy in the Peugeot 807 who got pulled for using his phone - if he'd stuck to his guns, how would the guilty charge have come about without evidence? Equally, missed a bonus collar on the same car for having its front offside indicator out.

I wondered if the in-car video might have been good enough to pick him up as he passed. They don't seem to bother with dodgy lights though - there was another recent one where a car they'd stopped had a tail light out, and it wasn't mentioned. I don't know whether it's dodgy lights they turn a blind eye to, or whether they just don't pursue them if there's enough other stuff going on. I'm not sure why the guy they caught in the black Mercedes that had just been stolen didn't get done for stealing it, or if there's not enough proof of that, at least get done for possession of stolen goods.

The sound editing is awful. The cop is driving along, the pic cuts to something else, comes back to him - the scenery out the side window is different, but the background sound of the nee-naws never varies. And sometimes, you hear the real neenaw in the background with a totally different different siren noise, but the nee naw continues over it!

Sound dubbing... deserves 6 points and a six moth suspension!

Must be the same company that does The Motorway, it shows our cars responding on ambers - we don't unless trying to get through stationary traffic. It shows the patrols talking in what is clearly one make of car, it pans to an external shot and it's a completely different car, they think just because it's a black/yellow 4x4, the public won't be able to tell the difference!

Just watched this st and a geordie plod goes racing up the a1 after a 'suspected ' drink driver

No idea where this 'suspected ' came from

No sitting behind the fella for abit to monitor his driving, just straight to pull

Poor old fella just been diagnosed with tongue cancer, been in hospital all morning and can barely talk but plod still persists with breathalyser

WTF, felt fuming for the old boy
