Nomination for "current worst advert" - The really annoying dad and his daughter in the VW Tiguan. The music is crap, the 2 people are really annoying and the thought that all the teenagers think they are both cool as dad drops his daughter off in a VW. FFS!!!
The bit where it reverse parks looks a bit 'shopped' to me, something just doesn't look right.

The most annoying bit for me is the embarrassment the kids are apparently facing due to being driven to school by their parents. A number of years ago now my daughter began acting like that so I went into Uncle Buck mode and told her if she didn't give it a rest I would be escorting her right to her form tutor's class holding her hand and skipping all the way whilst wearing a dressing gown and wellies. Fortunately she decided to stop acting like a brat instead of calling my bluff!

FFS the first one was interesting and amusing. But now they've just rehashed the same "talking dog" gag in about 60 different ways.

fk off will you!
I dont really get the whole credit score industry anyway.
Are people constantly checking their scores?
Maybe when you get a mortgage or a loan it would be useful to know, but how often does that happen?
If its free where do they make money to constantly advertise?
And why would you get your Nan to check her score too? Very odd!
I have a mortgage, several direct debits and obviously a credit card. Yet have no idea what my credit score is!
If you have a Barclaycard, it will show you your credit score on the online banking website.

As said, it's probably useful if applying for a mortgage or something. Though apparently credit reference agencies use their own scoring ratios so one may be out of 700, another 1000 and another 1300 or something random like that, so I'm not sure how it's much use other than a one off check that it's good(ish) and is therefore worth applying for a low-APR mortgage/loan/credit card etc.

There's a Mini ad I've seen recently where they've completely butchered a song by putting a pause in the middle and then starting it again somewhere different. Totally gets on my nerves

Have we had the Aviva ad with DC yet?
I'm surprised this one, along with the spinning the car until it parks Mr Corden, hasn't been pulled by the ASA yet for encouraging bad driving hehe Especially when some previous car manufacturer adverts have been pulled for that reason in the past (and they weren't even that bad).

I must admit I found the Aviva advert a bit poor, mainly due to the fact Aviva are trying to sell the passengers as a real couple that are unaware of what's going to happen when it's clear the entire local area has been shut down for filming. Although this whole "fake real customers" does seem to be the current trend in adverts.

My guess is that it's possibly going to end up part of a sponsorship tie in with Aviva and the F1 coverage on C4 this year, in place of Kayak from last year.
Especially as the advert states at the beginning something about it being an "experiment" or something. An experiment in what exactly?
Yep, I thought that too - what 'experiment'? Also that we're told it's on closed roads, so how do our unassuming couple - natch one white, one black - end up innocently on a closed set and conveniently only want a ride to somewhere else on the closed set? And why aren't they screaming in terror in the back instead of laughing their heads off?
It looks like something happened with the advert (possible complaints) as even the full length version of the advert now starts with an on screen disclaimer stating that the driving in the advert is undertaken under controlled conditions and that you shouldn't attempt to replicate the driving on public roads yourself.

It's 762.

It's a made up number that no lender will ever see. Lenders use their own scoring system.

not a specific advert, but i particularly hate it when the ad men take a good song and then chop it up to fit into a 20 second ad so that it doesn't even scan, and is just a complete mess. Often ends abruptly in a stupid way. Just really lazy!

The Volvo advert with the slow talking woman trying to sound intelligent. It's cringe worthy.

Not quite an advert, but the new-ish "ident" for the sponsor of You've been framed is annoying, where people pretend to fall off things and then laugh inanely.

The one with the bride? Genuinely thought it was an advert for domestic violence or something similar when I first seen it.

Dead Prez - Hip Hop ... Mix Master Mike made good use of the bass line many years ago, when shooting this film about the history of scratching:

But yeah, annoying advert all the same! hehe
