Oh my god, that Corsa advert with the four women in the car in a showroom listening to some dirge noise and pretending they are into it, nodding and rocking like lunatics, the driver girl has the most annoying im ignoring you face.
The fact they're not in sync is remarkably annoying. This Bing advert - everything about it but specifically the forced fake 'endearing' laughter, ahahaha...

Yes, she is fking irritating, and the forced laughing never was a smilie more appropriate.https://youtu.be/FZKv82t9raU
There’s a Lotto one on the radio (and I think TV) where basically people are saying who they would treat if they won.
This woman is going on about how great her sister is.
It ends with her saying “She’s got a lovely face”.
That’s bad enough but they then tack on a manic HA HA HA! laugh at the end.
On what planet would that pass for natural speech?

Just flicking through the channels and a new Barclays one popped up.
As far as i can tell the advert was meant to be educating people on how to be more savvy online when it comes to giving out your personal details and how other people can misuse it, track it, store it, etc, etc.
The one issue - the advert was based around a number of animated singing vegetables.
Now i assume, based on the time the advert was on, that they're meant to be targeting an adult audience that's not maybe that tech savvy. It just seemed very similar to the Gaz & Leccy adverts, using animated characters that are far more likely to appeal to young children than anything else.

Unbelievable the latest adverts for smart meters evidently get one installed and you will save x amount of kilowatt hours
Its not broken down into a figure and it seems very desperate
Similar one on TV - evidently by fitting a smart meter someone's grandad is now saving so much energy around the house that he can power his electric mobility scooter for free for at least a week (or month - i forget) instead.Unbelievable the latest adverts for smart meters evidently get one installed and you will save x amount of kilowatt hours

Or words to that effect. fk off. How is there even a link there? wkspanners.
yeah my takeaway from that is that I should start putting Miracle Gro in my daughter's bottle instead of baby milk... "You wouldn't feed your kids just water so why do that for your plants?"
Or words to that effect. fk off. How is there even a link there? wkspanners.

It contains for example: nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and various other elements which are not always present in sufficient quantities in tap water and can therefore lead to poor growth, yellow spots on the leaves, and so on.

Not sure why people seem to be struggling TBH. The link is that both the child and the plant need food as well as water, MiracleGro being food for plants.

Yes, we get that really, but we can make amusing references can we not?It contains for example: nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and various other elements which are not always present in sufficient quantities in tap water and can therefore lead to poor growth, yellow spots on the leaves, and so on.
