Just got back from seeing it - We thought it was great!

Dont expect a strong story line, just lots of brilliant special effects, brilliant cinematography in places and even a "Baywatch" type slow-mo of Megan Fox for you lot who like her wink

Well worth going to see as it just wont be the same on DVD or BluRay

Not long back from seeing it aswell.

Same as above, really.

I didn't bother going to see the first one at the cinema, then when I watched it at home, I really regretted not seeing it at the cinema.

Well worth a watch!

Didn't really the first one but this was pretty good. Megan Fox was hot.

What's that new silver car for autobots? Quad exhausts?

PS The movie is total crap. T4 is times better
Tis an old(ish) corvette concept car, very cool!

Thought the film was brilliant, nice and cheesy! But awesome CGI and megan fox. . . wibble!

Just got back from seeing it tonight and thought it was absolutely fecking ace.

Just a few downsides, the twins were a bit st, the blackbird while being a good storyline the character was a bit too cheesy.

Anyone know the difference between the 18 version and the normal one? Would I be missing something if I just saw the tame one?

laugh

The "18 only" screenings are just to ensure the film is not disturbed by any kids. The movie is the same hehe

If you're wondering why Barricade isn't in the new film it's because he's in London, obviously undercover. Luckily I wasn't as oblivious to the danger as the other drivers around me on the M25 and managed to take a photo:

I saw this last night.

It was OK but not nearly as good as the first one.

The human actors in this one are very flat and whereas the first was a passable teen comedy in the early stages this is rather painful. It only really gets going when the focus switches to the giant robots.

On the upside it has some of the most spectacular action scenes i've ever seen. You certainly see the budget up there on the screen.

I saw this with two of my boys (5 and 8)....too long for them (and me!), too many gags and the action was just a constant swirl of CGI....very hard to see what was going on - it looked expensive, but thats all.

Saw it last night.

Hilarious film, loved it smile

This fox bird though...sorry, not for me. She is trying too hard to be "hot".

Sexy should be effortless. She aint.

Saw it yesterday.

I must be getting old but I just wish that Bay would put a few quiet moments in his films, even just a minute here and there PLEEEASSE. 2.5 hours of nonstop st-blowing-up is just toooooo much, especially when they introduce a new character with no backstory every 30 seconds.

I felt physically knackered by about the 2 hours mark, just willing it to end quietly. No chance of that though, loads more st-to-blow-up-in-slow-mo.....

It makes the first film look positively calm and well thought out....

And just WTF was with the stupid english accent for Jetfire....I cannot imagine how they could have made that sound more awkward and out-of-place - it was like watching Pirates of the Caribbean all over again...he even looked like Davy Jones with those tentacles like things..

All in all - 3 out of 10.

Well I 'witnessed' this on Saturday.

All I can say is that this movie is the kind where quality is inversely proportional to how many people proclaim it is 'awesome'.

What an insipid word. What a hateful 'film'.

You're a hateful "film"! And so is your mother!

Did anyone else think that some of the bits of the transformers at the end looked like they were models instead of CGI? So strange looking, the CGI is getting very very good. Cant wait for the next one.

Otherwise its just an entertaining film, wish I was 12 then it would havebeen the greatest thing ever.

If I was 12 the movie would have been fking awesome! It is rad to the power of sick; it is splendid to the square root of marvellous. Or something.

But I am not 12. So, I think you will find, it's your mother's face.

Saw it last night in IMAX and it felt a bit "tacked" together. The forest scene
was in super hi res and looked incredible on the IMAX. Everything else
looked like a regular film resolution to me and the wife. It was also a
sell out showing and having spoke to the attendent whilst queing outside
the screen he said the IMAX showings have consistently been sold out since releAse.

Great cgi and effects but a bitty thin on everything else.

If Michael Bay wants to continue to rape my childhood he would at least buy me dinner first.
