So did that wall fall, or was it pushed?

Beat me to it.
Conspiracy theories about the falling wall? 2 separate camera angles when it fell?
Hmmmmmm

Mind you it could have taken the whole damn thing with it so it was quite a risk if "allegedly" it wasn't entirely accidental.

Speed kills: Seen it before but still fresh, and that girl plays a fantastic corpse.
Lindt: It didn't really make me want chocolate, I did want to knock the chefs hat off though.
Phileas Fogg: Well that was a new one for me, glad I watched GD now, might have to try some, but probably not sea salt and pepper ones.
Smart: Another new one, but didn't really do it for me, would've liked to see the smart car parked next to a fiesta for size comparison.
B & Q: Just bad adverts.
Miele: Another new one, though I would've liked a vacuuming comaprison race with the new dyson. I'm thinking slalom challenge.
Tesco: fk off.
Boots: New, must send mothers day card.

Glad I didn't miss them this time.

Why did they have to spend 20k on a architect?

If I wanted that wall to tumble - I would make sure I had it on film too (zoomed in close enough so you narrow the field of view.;)

She's great at stroking, FACT.

ETA, the advert obviously didn't work, it's FAST, not FACT dammit. Used to like that one.

New Grand Designs bit on now.

Because the professional busy bodies of English Heritage told them to.

IMO, This is the the best GD project. None of these metal & glass boxes can ever hope to hold a candle to this one

All credit to them, it does now look stunning. Wouldn't mind staying there, breakfast looks good. Anyone know if they have a website?

Damn straight, the end result looks superb... and then you think what it looked like when they started.. very very impressive.. I really hope it all works out for them and they don't have to sell up.

This is the kind of building which is a 'Grand Design'.
Totally.

Call me a misery but I wouldnt want to sit round a family table for my brekky, same as when skiing eating dinner with 'others' just isn't relaxing.

Beautiful, wonderfully honest materials and fascinating little (and big) spaces.

Somehow it seems fitting that the building has completely sucked them into a new lifestyle and in the process opened itself up to the public. Well done to them for being flexible and dedicated enough to 'go with it'.

That guy genuinly loves that building I hope they can make ends meet and don't have to sell it. It looks a really nice place to stay too and the prices are quite reasonable.
