I hate stupid things in film. If you have ever watched Wings of the Apache Nicholas Cage has a weak left eye so can't use the helmet sight for his Apache helicopter. So he drives around the car park with one eye bandaged up so it gets stronger. Why didn't they simply get a helmet with the sight on the other eye?

In Iron Eagle a boy steals an F16 and rescues his dad from the Arabs. Sadly the fuel range of an F16 wouldn't get you to the Middle East. Neither can you use music tape cassettes in the navigation system to play Queen while you are flying.

Any race/car chase scene where the they are neck and neck flat out in top gear - then the goodie remembers he has another gear. Then another one. Then another one. Then he changes down again - and goes faster still.

Any animals in films, you know that when the lead is "talking" to the animal its just looking at his owner who has a massive biscuit in his hand just out of shot!

When people put the phone down without saying goodbye!

In a car crash, you can still see the hole in the floor where the wooden pole has shot out to flip it over. They still do this, even with there massive budgets! Come on.

No matter how many times you watch a scene you never see her tits!

Youngblood - IIRC, Rob Lowe's character manages to change his skates midway through a breakaway. Several times.

Top Gun - All of it, but especially that stupid "They'll fly right by" manoeuver that Maverick does several times.

Rocky 4 - Rocky gets knocked down several times but only gets a count from the referee once.

For me it’s got to be the old 'zooming in on photos', there’s no software that can magnify a photo 10,000 times, it worked in Blade Runner, it doesn’t in anything else.

Talk about missing the point. Apache pilots have a monocle sight and have to learn to accept and process images with different focus on each eye. In the film he was having trouble with that so they made a periscope and attached it to his face with knickers and he drove around the car park with his two eyes giving him different information just like the monocle sight and he learned to deal with it.

Yes, it isn't the greatest of films ever but if you're going to criticise it then at least get your facts right.
