Yup - he's in at the beginning - which is a great opening scene btw.

It took a while to work out where it fits in the time line of the other 3. It's set 5 years after the first film but before Tokyo Drift.

Overall I liked it. As has been said here before its cheesy, predictable and not at all realistic. But it is a good take your brain out, popcorn movie. Jordana is looking great as always and there is plenty of other totty. Also, the focus isnt all on the Japanese cars. There is plenty of American muscle and a few european cars like an M5 and and RS200!

It doesn't quite work though an a new impreza sti wasn't around for tokyo drift and you'd imagine they'd have all the latest cars so 370z/evo 10 etc. would have appeared (but obviously couldn't). Otherwise it was fairly enjoyable but not as watchable as the first 2.

I watched it yesterday, entertaining and IMO better than the previous 3 films. They have toned down the continuous gear changing but I wouldn't pay to see it at the cinema. Overall much better than I was expecting

The South Coast PH group has a plan to visit a showing in Portsmouth on Sunday 26/4. I suspect the convoy will end up being 40 cars or more - the last two meets have had 110+

It was banned here in the UAE, until they remove a 47 second lesbian kissing scene.

So it comes out tomorrow instead.

Long enough to knock a couple out.

I saw one of the trailers to this a while back an it looked as though there was an RS200 in there somewhere. Was I wrong?

I've got all three on DVD too, and the girlfriend and I are looking forward to seeing number 4 sometime soon. Don't be ashamed, revel in your enjoyment of them.

Nope, I thought I saw an RS200 too.

Just back from seeing the new film. and as said above, a real brain out, popcorn film. I enjoyed it, not as 'good' as the first, but hey, so what.

Another  It was enjoyable. No godfather pt2 as expected but generally an enjoyable watch and good to see some more of the original cast.

Just got back, very good film, plots a little thin, not much thinking involved for the audience, which is expected and not really the point. Gorgeous cars, great chases, great crashes, great girls tongue out. I thought it was very well made.

me too...lol

but-
Watched it yesterday. was hoping it wasn't as poor as the first couple, and came out relieved. overall, a pretty good film. it wont win oscars, but it certainly wasn't as silly as the first films with warpspeed NOS and stuff like that.

a great mix of cars.
a great mix of woman.
and a story line...

ok, i'll admit, i really really enjoyed it. smile

Gotta agree there, liked the first one, the second was a bit, well Sunday afternoon - the rest are just forgettable...
This though - it felt like the franchise had 'Grown Up' a bit for this one...

Good brain out film as mentioned before - and i'd probably get it on dvd for a rainy day when it comes out. Think it might almost be better the second time round.

Agree with all the other comments. Daft, poor script, wooden acting but great fun

just watched it this morning, bit better story line, less cheesey, a big improvement, but still holds that impression of the previous ones, i think its aimed more to the u.s and maybe aisa, thats why we complain alot, the endind was disapoint but makes you want too see another too see what happens
