"Two pissing pints of fking lager and a fking shoot me in the face I'm a talentless fking bint in a sitcom packet of crisps, please." Even if I was back at the target audience age of 16 year-old spotty student this fking programme would drive me to handgun suicide.

Agree also with Royle Family & Catherine Tate. Beaming straight to a council estate near you...

Most things with studio laughter are pretty dire, as a rule.

Come now, most of the Royle Family was much too subtle to be appreciated by the illiterati. One of the best comedy shows in years, in my opinion. Agree with you 100% on 2 Pints and Tate - both gash.

I dislike the following:

- Little Britain
- Catherine Tate
- 2 Pints
- Fast Show
- Any 'original comedy' produced by BBC 3 (eg. Little Miss Jocelyn et al)
- Father Ted (awaits flaming on this one!)
- My Hero

To be fair, there are just as many without that fail as well, often in the name of alleged intellectual superiority.
Sometimes that actually makes the pain from lack of humour even more difficult to take.

Not very original but I'd nominate:

The Office - even more painful than a lonely weekend stretch in a real office (although I actually don't mind Ricky Gervais' stand up).

Catherine Tate - What drugs had some feckless media student taken to commission this tripe?

2 Pints - The same feckless student thought this would be funny for students and weirdly for people of other ages as well confused

Anything Little Britain related beyond the first couple of episodes.

Anything containing Lee Evans or Brand - a middle class Phil Cool and an prize wker!

That's enough for a 10 starter.

This has been done before and the definitive answer from PH's King of Comedy (TM) is:

Heil Honey I'm Home

Seriously, a Freinds style comedy about a pre-WW2 Hitler living in New York next to a Jewish couple...

It is bad in a league of badness way beyond anything already mentioned, Imagine Horne and Corden but 10 times worse.

It's on You Tube if you fancy being shocked.

The Office. Basically Ricky Gervaise. Not funny.
+ 1

Ricky Gervais? About as funny as a fire in an orphanage.

Don't waste you life watching Ghost Town, he can't act. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0995039/

Agree with an awful lot of the above especially Horne & Cordon, Catherine Tate, The Royle Family, Two Pints, Little Britain, Everybody Wants To Shoot Raymonds Mother In The Face With A .44 and The Office.

Some other posters are right by the way, the removal of that smug tt Gervais makes the American version of The Office much better. And My Family was alright til Kris Marshall left.

As anyone mentioned
Vicar of Dibley? Ab Fab? King Of Queens? Desmonds? The Nathen Caton Show? Three Non Blondes? Chef? Anything ever written ever by Carla Lane?

But my heresy is Only Fools & Horses. Was slightly funny then. When you watch the repeats now its like having your teeth pulled. Its dated really, really badly.

I'm glad it's not just me that hates The Office, all my mates we raving about it when it was on but I found it about as funny as Alan Carr.

I used to be a big fan, but, Mock the Week...... do you know they film for 3 hours, just to get the 30 minutes they show. Franky Boyle is was good, but he seems to just be just outragous for the sake of it.

This kind of thread will never have an agreement on any one show being unfunny because their idea of what's funny or what isn't is different for everyone.

With one exception.

Curb Your Enthusiasm. Utterly, utterly unfunny.

Also Friends, My Hero, Horne and Corden, and My Family.
