Indeed! Top guy with a very unique and obviously successful style...
I've not seen him do anything in the UK though.
He did a series in the UK, a few years ago, hour long docs with people like the Hamilitons and Jimmy Savile. Very illuminating, because of his laid back style.I've not seen him do anything in the UK though.

Yeah he was on the money again, finding the right people to talk to.
Some more shocking insight into the state of America
That bit with the brother and sister addicted to meth and supposedly banging each other........ fking mental. Some more shocking insight into the state of America
Good show, not quite as good as the Law & Disorder specials.
I thought this one wasn't as good as the others he's done recently. After you'd heard the druggy's story there wasn't that much more to say, it didn't really dig up anything new like the "South Africa is fking crazy" episode or ask difficult questions like in "Paedophiles who have done their time" (Titles may not be 100% accurate).
There have been a lot of shows about addicts and the lengths they go to to feed the habit, to me it was no different to the lives of heroin addicts.

Love the Theroux docs. He definitely gets into places unreachable by others - he doesn't look threatening and has the correct accent for winning trust abroad, because all Brits speak like that, don't they . At first I was wary of him but was quickly won over - the guy genuinely puts himself in harms way and asks the right questions. The people in front and behind the problems.

Am I right in thinking that he went into a Nazi Supremist Group in the States for a BBQ, but kinda neglected to mention he was Jewish..............He seems so strange, but it's compelling to watch.

I haven't really watched any other drug documentaries so I couldn't believe that people lived in such squalor with such complete disregard for their own lives in America! There have been a lot of shows about addicts and the lengths they go to to feed the habit, to me it was no different to the lives of heroin addicts.
Louis just claims complete naivety and somewhat plays into the english stereotype..
This means the people he's interviewing almost can't feel threatened by him.
I saw half of this show before falling asleep (It was 4am, nothing to do with being a boring show. It's not) and the first half was pretty horrific.
The most amazing thing was the user who had been using for 30+ years every day. It amazes me how some people survive it.
