Last of the series just aired in the U.S. with a typical end series cliff hanger that does not get me wanting another 44 or so episodes.

Fun fact, the woman who plays her, Riki Lindholme, is the partner of the woman who played Raj's weird girlfriend, in the comedy duo Garfunkel & Oates(who have a good series on netflix)

I've only seen the Pilot so this "review" may change once the season starts but, so far, Young Sheldons mum is a pretty convincing mimic of Sheldons "old mum" but the unknown kid playing young Sheldon is pretty dire and the script doesn't really "feel" right yet.

TBBT is more than just a funny script, the actors have brought the characters to life and made them "believable" but Young Sheldon doesn't have that yet, and if the ratings continue to tank it would be given time to find itself.

I think this thread - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... - could probably pass for being used with regards to spoilers from S11, although the UK airdates seem to be within 3 weeks of the US but will have longer breaks to avoid the US scheduling downtime.

On a side note I read an article today reporting how Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) is pregnant so the writers have had to adjust some of their plans for her / Howard's storylines this season as they'll probably have to work her pregnancy into the show and give their characters a second child.

Correct, the first baby was just normal progression of story line, but now she is pregnant in real life, so have written it in,

Am loving the season 11, but like most are saying it does feel like it is coming to a climax,
