Latest episode out and actually very good still
Assuming this is the Bitcoin one? I felt the premise was sound and the flashback segments worked well, but the punchline was woeful.craigjm said:

That hasnt been shown in the UK yet has it?craigjm said:
I asked if it had been shown in the UK and that doesn’t mean on some dodgy internet steaming site surely. Anyway I’m sure we will catch up this Thursday.
Well, you ought to be clearer with what you meant by "shown". To me, it was shown in the UK on a HD quality, safe and secure streaming site which is not illegal. MYOB said:

So what is this site? Gone suspiciously quiet in here
Oh sorry, it's the usual Kodi malarkey, with side loading of software. All perfectly legal at my end.

So which add on software gives you the Big Bang theory ahead of UK release in a perfectly legal manner at the end of consumption?
Any number of 3rd party apps for Kodi, is it illegal to watch something that has already been shown on free to air USA TV?Even if it is illegal, its not a real crime is it, it not like raping a granny or anything like that. If its ok for the BBC nazis to bare faced lie when trying to stitch someone up with the TV licence then its ok to watch TBBT a few days before release.

It is illegal if you don’t own the copywrite, you are not paying for the content from the provider or are able to watch it only through the use of a proxy to fool the free to air catch up service that you are somewhere that you are not. I highly doubt that any viewing of a programme like this ahead of UK broadcast is legal and would be interested to see the justification for it being legal from anyone that is suggesting it is. I think you need a better lawyer. Streaming is just as illegal as downloading if a) you are using a proxy to gain access to service that is not operational in your country or b) are streaming from a site that does not own the copyright to the material or the rights of the producer to distribute it.
