Watching tonight's ep, only funny lines come from Sheldon, Penny and Amy...fire everyone else...Raj as usual us boring and sucks the chuckle build up straight outta it
in fact it's just creepy for most of it
Agreed, it's pretty awful now... and the laughing soundover they use now, is criminal!

I enjoyed last nights, laughed when Howard 'zoomed' the video for Raj and a few other times, I forget the gags.

I have to admit it though, despite my reservations I really like Young Sheldon.

Young Sheldon is very enjoyable, the actor who plays Sheldon is superb and the writing is top quality.
I must admit I was wrong to suspect this would be another weak spin-off.

But what is it? I personally haven't lauged out loud once so I don't classify it as a comedy.

The latest one (S11ep20 ) is a good return to form.

I'd say 'light-hearted drama' it reminds me of 'The Wonder Years' in some ways.

Bad ep tonight, one or two glimpses of old, mostly ,sub-par st. Guest star was wasted, it's starting to feel stretched

Better than TBBT in some ways.

Every person in it can act very well, Missy is brilliant.

Young Sheldon's dad is Jimmy Speckerman, Leonard's high school bully in TBBT

I hadn’t thought of that, but now you’ve said it, I think that you’re right.
The little girl playing Sheldon’s twin sister has some cracking lines, and facial expressions, she would drop Sheldon or big brother Georgie deep in doo doo for a nickel.
Grandma, (mee maw), loves the kids to bits, but is not averse to leading them off the straight and narrow.
I loved the episode where Sheldon’s Dad, George Senior, was trying to get her to reveal her brisket recipe, and she sent him off on a wild goose chase from Texas to New Orleans LA, to get some special ingredient, which didn’t exist.

And don't forget that Zoe Perry, who plays his mum, is the daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who plays her in TBBT.

I keep telling my misus that they look similar, but she thinks I'm a tt.

Those two statements are not necessarily related...
