Is series 12 currently on E4 the final series, or is that series 13?

It would be a bit of a drag never being able to do up your trousers though...

The Thursday night episodes are the final season....to be repeated forever on E4 though probably.

Perhaps, but she is quite a lot of it.

Well, Bernadette can be quite cute.

Particularly in this, my favourite scene:

I'm kind of interested to know who you think is 'all that'.

How do you think they did the flashback episode in last nights show? There were three scenes where Sheldon's old BFF Tam replaced Leonard in scenes from previous series - where Penny first moved in, when Sheldon hugged Penny at Christmas & the ballpit scene.

They can't have re-shot the Penny scene as she looks so different so there must have been some mighty special effects work going on.

Seemed to be a mixture of original footage (some from S1, some from a later episode which was a flash-back to stuff that happened before) with scenes cut in showing older Tam, the set is largely unchanged I so I guess they cut a new footage at the right or left of the original or something like that.

It was well done IMHO and helped tie TBBT more into Young Sheldon which is nice, but you might argue it only showed how much better it used to be.

In Young Sheldon last night, he dismantled the refrigerator, as he, and apparently only he, could hear an unexplained humming noise coming from it.
Naturally, he screwed up, and couldn’t put it all back properly, resulting in a $200 repair bill.
George, his father, told him that he was disappointed in him.
Sheldon, in their bedroom, began to silently cry, Missy went over and cuddled him.
I dissolved, I had to freeze the screen, I couldn’t see through the liquid that had somehow appeared in my eyes.

I thought s12 is the best one for a while to be honest. Not up there with the older stuff but far better than the last few series.

Mild humour in last night's episode ,the one with Halloween party and Howard impersonating Sheldon ,then Sheldon

and Amy impersonating Howard and Bernadette.

I thought Howard's impression of Sheldon to be excellent .

Yes it was a much better episode and that impersonation was great. Almost a mix of old Sheldon and the young one.

Young Sheldon that followed was an excellent example of comedy that really pulls on the heartstrings.

Right, come on, I can do this, I’ve made it this far, finishing it is the right thing to do no matter how hard it is.

Series 12 episode 1, let’s give it a go.

I've been recording S12 from E4
It got to ep 10 before Christmas (I think?), then it seems to have stopped.... of course, if I search on Freesat there's something like 160 listings for BBT as it's on every day all day, but nowt listed for S12... anyone know what's happened to this last series on E4, please?
