Love the ending, the lift being repaired was a nice touch, Leonard/Penny expecting We all knew was on the cards.
I thought the way they did the Nobel thing was very good, and am I right in saying that's the only time we've seen Howard/Bernie's kids?

Surprised Sheldon's mum wasn't there, seems odd that she wasn't.

Edit due to spoiler.

She is in a broadway play with Jon Lithgow so probably couldn’t get free for the filming

The series 2 finale of Young Sheldon (which was broadcast the same evening in the US) dovetails beautifully into the final Big Bang.

Very well done.

I think it’s great too, and as good as Iain Armitage, (young Sheldon), is, I think that Annie Potts, (Meemaw), and Raegan Revord, (Missy), steal it, plus they have some good lines.

Is this just the author's beef with the actor who plays Amy not taking the correct line on the Weinstein scandal?

Sounds like, lots of people have gone off TBBT, it's probably should have ended a few years ago, and I watched some scenes with the laughter track taken out and they're starkly terrible.

If the writer had said that, then it would be a fair and reasonable piece, but she's gone in for the full hatchet job, there's been a decent amount of character development, it's not inherently sexist, but it's not 2019 Media Spec non-binary (thank god) so it renders the rest of it moot really.

Missy and Meemaw are brilliant i agree Raegen is so so dry in her delivery and a great foil for her young brother.

Her Friends piece actually made me laugh at some of the jokes I had forgotten about, I couldn't help but read her "articles" in a shrill, angry voice in my head laugh

22 not 16.

Massive fan of the first few series, tend to wait for the latest ones to come out on Netflix now and watch as and when.

I can't imagine a world where people like that don't have something to get frothy about.

And we wonder how they could elect Trump.

Agreed. hehe

Anyway, a great show that had come to an end. Reasonably nice, but kinda predictable ending. My wife and I have recently watched most of Friends again while being up with a baby. I wonder if we will do similar with TBBT in the future if we're lucky enough to have another!

8 Simple Rules first episode aired on 17th Sept 2002. Kaley Cuoco's date of birth: November 30th 1985 (info from IMDB)

Hence when the first episode aired she was 16. Allowing for production schedules she was probably 16 for at least half of the first seasons filming.

According to IMDB the show only ran for 3 seasons ending on 15th April 2005 so she was still only 19 when they stopped airing the show.

Caught up with the last episode(s) on E4 earlier. Pretty decent way to wrap it up IMO with Sheldon's speech being completely different to what he'd planned all his life.

As per the spoiler tag earlier, i had a feeling both of those would be included - pretty obvious they'd have to do both of those as it's what most fans would have expected i'd have thought.

I thought we might find out at last what Penny's surname was, to put that running gag to rest along with the elevator.

Yes! I came here to say exactly that, we never did find out!
