Just as they plan to take care of Clay then they can't. Great show.

Sons of Anarchy has been picked up for a sixth season.
The FX biker drama, created by Kurt Sutter, was recommissioned for a fifth run back in October.
A sixth season has now been requested before the fifth has premiered, as part of Sutter's new deal with Twentieth Century Fox TV and FX Productions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition, a seventh year of the show - which stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman - is also under consideration.
"There's a part of me that does see being able to tell this story in seven seasons," said Sutter.
"[But] I almost feel like when you hang that kind of finality and put a period on something, there's almost a backlash that happens with the fan base."
The showrunner added that Sons could even continue into an eighth season and beyond.
"If there's more story to be told after seven seasons and if financially it's still a feasible endeavour, I'm definitely open to doing more," he admitted.
Sutter's deal with FX will also allow him to develop new shows for the cable network, in addition to new episodes of Sons of Anarchy.
The fourth season of Sons of Anarchy concluded on December 6. Thirteen new episodes are expected to air in late 2012.
As much as I enjoy this show I imagine plots will start to thin out soon. Have to say the last season could have brought it all to a neat close but I imagine they will keep going until the audience figures drop and then it will be a quick death.Taken from Digitial Spy. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/news/a364225/sons-of-anarchy-gets-sixth-season-possible-seventh.html

Very brutal start to the series
There goes one of my favourite Samcro members sad about that but I guess his story had kind of run it's course? Brutal way to go though.
Part of me is already thinking that Nero is behind the home invasions? He's just too good to be true at the moment... something is not right with him
And I have a feeling (call it a small hunch ) that Tigg is going to be completely postal come series end. God help anyone that gets in his way.

I'm on series 5 at the moment.
For me it's still a very good show that I'll contiune to watch but IMO is getting a bit far fetched for me especially comapred to where the story started. With everything that happened in the last series Clay needed to die, at the end 2 people found out that he'd killed their fathers on top of other things he's still breathing. I know it's to keep them all out of jail-but still....
They can keep it going but only with more far fetched story lines held up by some good acting. The Gemma character has become a bit of a slaggy panto one dimensional character and does my head in.

At what point has it ever NOT been far-fetched? Gangs the size of Hells Angels still make major news headlines for killing a couple of people, How many has a small group of white trash killed on the show? Then the IRA, the CIA, Mexican cartels etc.thehawk said:
