I was thinking this was about a TV series about taking things back.

just switched it off! think im getting miserable in my old age... i dont want to watch something that glorifies chav work shy drug addicted bast@rds.

whats ironic is that real chave are actually worse than what the series dictates, it's pretty obvious this is a middle class view of what the under class are when in fact it's worse.

I half agree with you tykey. Didn't enjoy that as much as I used to. Must be getting old.

It was good to see Mrs Doyle getting rogered by Frank. I was half expecting her to say, 'ahhh, you will.' At some point.

Watched it last night and enjoyed it muchly.

Haven't really watched TV for about 9 months so missed lots of the last series. Think I may need to do some catching up..

They were 'stunt tits'

Never saw her face and boobs in the same shot, like Billie Piper in that programme about the prosi'.

I thought it looked like a promising return to form.

Over the years I think I watched all the series and did feel it was lacking a bit... that said, they have tackled some pretty grim topics & taken it to some dark places too.

Is Debbie not in it now? They briefly mentioned she had joined the army.

Nope, not this series anyway.

I must admit, as a massive Shameless fan, that the first episode was a bit of a let down, but after watching next weeks on E4, i can confirm it is back to its best! smile

Couldn't really see the point in week 3

Sooner one of the Maguires batters that Jo chap the better, and do a better job this time.

Rebecca Atkinson is dirteee (shame she even did Frank)

Don't watch next weeks then, as it looks like he is around to stay unfortunately. He has a face that you want to just hit, repeatedly!

Jo is a good character, very hateable and played really well. I can see this storyline building up to a climax at the end of the series.

Good to see Karen going for it on the sofa last night, more like the Karen of the earlier series!

I've watched the first 3 now

1 - Mrs Doyle goes sleepies

2 - Connor’s christening

3 - Karen goes tonto

In the past Shameless came across as more a documentary for round here than a comedy
