I liked it....but it was naturally going to be downbeat considering the conclusion of a life that is run backwards.

watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Very disappointing - and yes, a little depressing. Not really that much of a story I thought. No real feeling for the characters.

I saw it in the cinema and whilst I thought it was a good/clever film, I came out of the cinema feeling soooo depressed. I think it was the fact it was a story told by someone in their dying days which made it worse. It may not have been so bad if it had just been narrated for example.

I really enjoyed the film - and I found it thought provoking rather than depressing.
Would recommend it to others, even if it doesn't end on a laugh.

It was a missed opportunity in my opinion.

The premise is intriguing, but the execution flawed. Pitt doesn't help.

I liked it, yes a little depressing but more thought provoking. Worth the watch if you ask me. Kind of made me want to get on with life and do things that really matter because the thought behind the film for me is when you are incapable of doing anything but sit in a wheelchair or lie on your deathbed, you want to feel satisfied with what you've achieved and enjoyed.

Utter crap. It's basically a remake of Forrest Gump, which was also utter crap.

I switched it off half way through. First time I've ever done that with a rented film. We sat there and watched it for about half an hour and absolutely nothing happened. It was truly dire IMO.

Apart from being born old, and dying as a baby, there's nothing else to this film, except being a typical love story.

Whilst it was filmed very well, i thought it was pish

Are you me? This is exactly what we did, turned off after about an hour after nothing had happened. Terrible film.
