Agreed with Tony A last time. We concluded at the end of the whole thing that he did things which would have totally gone against his "double crossed" status - which means it truly is a lottery as to who it's going to be at the end of the whole show.

What a load of old tosh. Fanciful story lines. One too many unbelievable twists.
Have you even watched a series of 24 before? Jack Bauer single handedly saves the day, every day. I think it's fair to say you need to suspend belief to enjoy.

I want the mobile phone that Jack has. Amazing battery life, works in tunnels, subways, airplanes and in deserts and always has a 3G signal.

Where do I get one?

Is Elisha Cuthbert back yet? I might bother to download it if she is.

Read somewhere (maybe in the other season 8 thread) thats its too expensive to produce now, with low ratings and poor reviews from critics, and as Fox can't seem to offload it to another studio they will cancel the series and make it into one or more feature films, possibly in London. This may be just what it needs, because although i'm watching the current series, it has lost all its sparkle and needs refreshing.

The twists directly involving Jack are totally and utterly believable. If you didn't believe them, he'd kill you for your lack of faith.

The unbelievable twists are everywhere else in the story.

"Chloe, send it to my PDA"....and in a flash he has a hi-res photo or building layout.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, my works PDA takes 30 seconds to download a 4 line job description and even then i have to re-set it 3 times to get a connection biggrin

I did this during Series 4 when I realised that it had become ridiculous rubbish.

Maybe its the amazing american mobile networks and their awesome technology.

Every week I get the episode downloaded and eventually get round to watching it. But the interest is severely waning now. My mum and sister have been avid 24 fans since season 1, and have now stopped watching it - its just getting way too silly.

On the bright side, Flashforward appears to have improved, V is back on screens very soon, Lost isn't too bad at the moment, and Stargate Universe is due back on screen soon as well.

Breaking bad just started up again too.
