They're kidding, right? This is a joke, isn't it?
Dannii Minogue presents music from the best animated movies, including performances from Katherine Jenkins and Mika.
Can Sunday night TV get any worse?

In the past two decades, some very good music has been written for animated movies, "The Lion King" and "Sleeping BEuaty" being prime examples.

Eric, I think Mr CW is bemoaning the fact that this is an artificially created 'vote for X', very cheap (i.e. st) telly show, not the quality of film scores/tunes that have been used.Much as I don't want to, I have to agree with him. Barrel scraping is being done here.

The more I read the listings for TV, the more I realise how prescient Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge was with his suggestions for "Monkey Tennis" and "Youth Hostelling With Chris Eubank."
They really have run out of ideas for TV programmes.
Anyone remember KYTV from the late 80s? A fictional station with low rate shows that have zero content. "International Caravan Racing" I think was one. They really have run out of ideas for TV programmes.
Obviously they were visionaries looking at todays TV culture!

However, up until 1960, there were more popular songs coming out of film musicals than animated films. With the demise of the traditional film musical, animated films have become a main source for movie generated popyular songs.
