I went with my son last week....and actually quite enjoyed it. Wasn't as 'dark' as I thought it was going to be, but still enjoyable.

I saw it at the weekend. It has amazing CGI, you certainly can't see the join, but even though Burton has tried to mix it up a bit, it's wholly predictable and as an adult you find yourself observing without a great deal of emotion. I guess first time kids will love it though.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago in 3D. Sadly, the picture quality is poor because of the retro-fitted 3D. Also, the 3D layers were sometimes distracting (colour lines not quite matching for a split second).

It was designed for 2D, so probably best to see it as originally intended.

Other than that (and Alice's weak acting), it's a fun film with some great cameo parts.

It's surprisingly good. Entertaining, doesn't need too much cerebral power and is short (1hour 40).
The 3D is very good.

If you can got to an Imax watch it on the IMAX in 3D - it really is a good effect then

in regards to the film, it was a typical Tim Burton film but it was very well done and a pretty good watch i thought
