Is Cable laying down the foundations of a coalition government with Labour here? He seems to be going out of his way to agree with Darling and compliment him on his responses!

Captain Darling couldn't even say National Insurance ! let alone explain it

he looked really flustered without someone telling him what to do

I think that the value of these kinds of programmes is often lost in assessing body language, and their bickering, however I thought that the Lib Dem bloke came across very well, however they all lacked substance.

I hate the current regime, and what they have done (at least in contribution), however Darling was the lesser evil on that show. The tory guy is a car salesman that will use all the tricks in the book to get the punter to seal the deal, however will keep the "13 years of Labour" card handy to be played whenever he fks up.
