The line up couldn't get much better - but a lot will depend on how well they can perform on the night. It could end up like one of those hopeless telethons where otherwise talented people look vaguely confused and repeat themselves endlessly without actually saying anything.
The ads for it are legendary. Just watching Brooker waving the flag makes me laugh - compulsory viewing that night.

Mitchell is usually very good at impromptu sarcastic ranting which I'm sure will come in handy. The ads for it are legendary. Just watching Brooker waving the flag makes me laugh - compulsory viewing that night.
Brooker is usually better with written stuff, but he can be funny.
Carr will almost certainly be using written material.
I think there will be a solid plan to what they're doing, I'm hoping for the best.

For those of us sad enough to be engrossed in the US elections I was fortunate enough to watch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's live coverage/commentary on the night and I'm hoping this will match in terms of satire (and belly laughs)
