It seemed to be even more biased towards Labour last night than usual. That Medhi chap just came across as a bitter and twisted Labour luvvie, I hope that's the last time he's invited onto the panel, it was quite disturbing the amount of support he was getting from both the live audience and the people at hime texting in though.

Question Time is at it's best when Ian Hislop is on the panel.
....And David Starky, he once called David Milliband a "Arrogant little twerp"

The only political program worth watching is "This Week" with Andrew Neil, as Eric has said - the rest, unless you're an avid Guardion reader, are unashamedly biased towards the left - Marr being one of the worse.

this is precisely why I cannot watch any BBC political shows anymore and that includes the news, I think I would have gone through a dozen TVs by now!

Do you watch "This Week" directly after Question Time? I would highly recommend it as it is extremely disrespectful and might even have a slightly right wing bias to it.

If you want to, you can watch it on iPlayer.

Very funny.

yes This Week is a brilliant one to watch after question time if you can stay up that late wink

I loved Neil's comment to Abbot.

As usual, he asked her for her "Pick of the Week". Her "Pick" was Gordon Brown's "(in her words) "Dignified departure from No.10". She said, it made him look human.

Neil replied "Did you only just work that out?".

I can;t understand how anyone could think the bbc has been left leaning recently - Paxman especially anti Labour at almost every oportunity.

I missed it last night QT but heard it was good.

thanks for top tip

I must say I have not watched this but have heard it is good, although Andrew Neil I find a bit painful but would reserve judgement until I watch it

Andrew Neil is a dreadful person so I don't watch This Week, but I enjoyed Question Time last night, I thought it was a good debate. Mehdi Hasan seemed to make a good contribution (apart from his 5 minute rant at the start, but I put that down to nerves) whereas Melanie Phillips was revolting. Heseltine, Hughes and Falconer were good too. There is a blatant bias in the media driven by Murdoch's ownership of the newspapers and I think this needs to change. I find it difficult to vote for one party or another because they each have good and bad policies, no single party has a monopoly on bright ideas. The Tory/Liberal coalition is the best possible outcome for me because they can cherry pick the best policies from each.
What's dreadful about Neil? He never loses his temper. He never rants.

That moron Hasan on QT last night was a disgrace and I hope he is never invited to take part again.

I don't rate people on their actual political beliefs. I rate people on their manner and behaviour. Hassan was a boor last night.

Eh, how do rationalise that?

+1

Just watching it now. Bumblebee should be cutting him off with that behaviour.

You know what, style AND content go together. I would far rather listen to someone I don't agree with who had impeccable manners and consumate debating skills than a rude, ill mannered yob who happens to have views I agree with.
