Very poor journalism that episode, pretty much anti-current-government (i.e. tory) BBC propaganda. I think the BBC are worried about cuts themselves....

I won't list all the flaws in the prog (we'd be here forever biggrin) but for one, where was some balance about cuts to over-management (who are people too winkbiggrin) etc. OK, the prog is about "front line" services, so where's the next program about over-management cuts?

If they want to know what the problems are, look at the library. In one section they had about £10k worth of Apple Macs for users of the library. Surely £3k worth of half decent (e.g. basic Dells) would have done the job if it's just for internet research etc.....

Cuts have to happen, you'd think there was nowhere where cuts are possible rolleyes
