A heads up. This started at 10.15pm tonight, but its also on the channel 4 plus at 11.15pm.
Its called "Capitalism, a love story".
I like Moore because he tells it like it is.

I'm guessing he blames everything on those greedy bankers who are slightly poorer than him?

Not exactly true. His tales are full of holes. Make good viewing provided you don't take it too seriously.

Amusing and entertaining populist rubbish. The Japanese car industry failed because we bombed it in WW2? No, it failed because they were military factories. It's fun though.

Sort of funny that a Ferrari owner is a fan of a Moore anti-capitalist film!

Surely any society, pushed as it is by the politics of the left or right needs an articulate opposing voice to consider the human impact of its culture and policies.

Love him of hate him, the world needs Michael Moore(s).

How many of the NHS opponents on PH have seen Sicko?

Buy the DVD on Monday! rofl

Why would they show the film now, and advertise the DVD in the break?

And good luck to you. That's the dice that capitalism can roll.

I doubt it, a quick google turned this up:

"Moore himself is one of these ultra-wealthy few, with a net worth exceeding $50 million. On November 1, 2005, World Net Daily reported that the anti-capitalist Moore -- who had proudly declared "I don’t own a single share of stock!" -- in fact owned tens of thousands of shares in U.S. stocks. Most notably, Moore owned more than 2,000 shares in Halliburton -- the gas and oil company he excoriated in his film Fahrenheit 9/11."

The guy with the bread factory is mad. Why would he take all the risks, and then share the profit like it's some commune? If they make zero profit for a couple of years, does he hope that his staff will stay 'for the good of the company'?

That's what's wrong with Moore. He takes silly examples like that, and suggests that all companies should be similar. Having listened to some of the stuff about his upbringing, it sounds like he was quite privileged. Now he bemoans capitalism while earning millions.

The Awful Truth and Bowling for Columbine were decent but everything he has done since has been grade A hypocritical rubbish.

I expect he could make similar documentaries describing what is rotten in any economic system.
