I've got really into film themes recently - great for a bit of inspiration while I work. The Valkerie OST is a particular favourite, followed by V For Vendetta.

What's your favourite film score?

The Blues Brothers, no seriously there's James brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Cab Calloway, that's one he'll of a lot of musical talent in one film.

Some great suggestions - thanks.

I've got the Apocalypse Now soundtrack - it's a bit morbid in places but perfect when you're in the right mood.

Anything by John Williams.

Clint Mansell's Lux Aeterna is a corker, too.

Quite like what Howard Shore did for LOTR.

Blimey - this is opening my mind to some films I've never heard of - let alone composers!

Try these two;

Sublime - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYHtYuHCso4

Sick - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeOGSIkAgZU
(Coupled with the opening scene of this movie gives you an overwhelming queesy feeling that something very bad is going to happen.)

I thought Michael Nyman's Gattaca score was incredible - very powerful and moving and it complemented the film brilliantly.

My favourite film of all time, helped tremendously by the beautiful, haunting soundtrack.

Definately!

The "28 days later" theme was based on a track by Godspeed You Black Emperor! called East Hastings - a highly recommended 18 minutes.

The Casino Royale soundtrack is great and although it's not technically a film, the music from Spooks (by Jennie muskett) is also a favourite listen.
