I'll be the first to admit that I normally only watch "talent" shows to laugh at the nutty council people and with this being on Sky I wasn't really expecting much.

But as much as I hate to admit it, I'm really enjoying it! The auditions only lasted a few weeks and there were some really good acts. Now it's into the live shows and I'm still enjoying it. After the live show each of the acts song is released on itunes to download and last week one of the contestants made into the UK top 10 singles chart. Pretty impressive really!

Quite a few good acts but this girl really stands out to me:

Someone mentioned it to me the other week but I thought it was too similar to the X Factor, even though its probably the show the X factor should be

I thought this might have potential as well as it seems to focus on the talented rather than the useless (like X-factor).

However after watching one of the programmes for 30 mins and not actually seeing any acts I decided it was tedious in manner akin to Noel Edmonds boxes show... i.e could be done in about 15 mins flat if all the faff was removed.

Which was a shame, as it actually has some genuinely talented people on.
