Just watched 'Gomorrah' and 'A Prophet'.

Gomorrah was just like slipping into a new world, very good indeed.

A Prophet was also superb, well worth a watch as well, great acting. I speak French fluently and spent a lot of time amongst 'les barbu' and 'les Corse', the slang in the film is terrific and the characterisations are spot on.

Five stars each, and a refreshing change from the mainstream.

Seven samurai is one of my all time favorites plus the rest of Toshiro Mifune's early stuff.
Also love Triplets of Belleville, some wonderful characterisation.

Yeah its a great film. And Audrey Tautou does look AMAZING throughout!


The Wave (Die Welle) is also good as well as "Karthik calling Karthik" which is a very watchable Bollywood film about a schizophrenic man who's 'new' persona is mega confident and gets him places.
