Does Anna remind anyone else of Servalan from Blakes 7?
I hadn't thought of that, but crikey - you've definitely got a point.Jane Badler is definitely looking her age when she appears. Season 2 is looking extremely interesting, hopefully it'll keep up the pace in subsequent episodes.

I think he started off promoting the Vs, then spied on 5th column for Anna and caused them trouble, and at the end of series 1 he came across the human testing which is why I guess he does what he does in the 1st episode of series 2 and 'switches sides'.

I thought so, then wondered if I had forgotten another switch (as it has been months since I watched it)I think he started off promoting the Vs, then spied on 5th column for Anna and caused them trouble, and at the end of series 1 he came across the human testing which is why I guess he does what he does in the 1st episode of series 2 and 'switches sides'.

It’ll probably do you as background. It’s been tolerable, but lacks depth and believable character writing (especially in comparison to the ’80s original). I’ve really disliked the vagueness of the updated narrative—the shift from science saving humanity to fuzzy emotion and faith doing the job.
It’s no Battlestar Galactica, that’s for sure.

For those 'watching in the USA' the last episode is tomorrow.
Sadly no sign of a third series as the ratings have been low.
That's only 10 episodes then, last season had 12, doesn't look good, Season 2 struggled to get the go ahead, there's a lot of CGI so it must be fairly expensive to make.Sadly no sign of a third series as the ratings have been low.
Shame, I enjoyed them.
I was looking forward to this remake as I loved the original. I'm sorry, but whoever said this was better than the original is WRONG. Don't get me wrong it's not bad and for a starved Sci-Fi fan it's worth a watch but it isn't a patch on the origanl. It's way too slow paced in places, doesn't have the memorable characters of the original and most importantly they've gotten rid of those brilliant lazer guns which made such an awesome noise and replaced them with ones that look like metal door handles and fizzle out. Where are my frikkin loud lazers dammit!

have you re-watched the original recently? It's on YouTube if not, I loved it and had fond memories but it's not really aged well.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
