Finished tonight after watching avidly pretty much every night for the last couple of months. What a show! the first series I've 'bench watched' thanks to my brother in law's Netflix account smile

I can now look at this thread and not be worried about spoilers. I am going to miss it, going to have to find something else to watch now which will be hard as BB is going to be a hard act to follow.

Ha ha, I have been studiously avoiding this thread for months now, wasn't sure what to write but the two posts above sum it all up perfectly!

RIP BB, 12/08/14.

we had a final 3 ep BB party on Sunday having "somehow" managed to avoid spoilers up until the end.

really really enjoyed it and glad we stuck with it Se4 dips a bit but 5 is awesome and the final episodes conclude it really well despite there being more than one or two loose ends.....

I never understand this either. When I re-watched the show prior to the second half of season 5 coming out I forgot just how much happens in the first few episodes.

Just watched the final two episodes of BB last night. It's been a hell of a ride. Gutted to realise that there isn't really a Season Six!

Sorry, I can't be bothered to read 77 pages of this thread, but I have to say, I got halfway through season 2, went away for a week and have felt no urgency to go back to it.
Too much hype for what to me seems like a pretty mediocre US series.

Stick with it (Breaking Bad, not this thread); if you're halfway through Series 2 then you've yet to meet Gus, and he brings in a whole new plot arc.

Thats like saying you sat in a Ferrari and drove it at 10 mph in first and didnt think it was that fast!

Either watch it or dont, but if you dont, you can hardly comment on the entire series!

Did well at the Emmys last night...

  • Outstanding Drama Series - Breaking Bad
  • Outstanding Writing in a Drama - Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad)
  • Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series - Bryan Cranston
  • Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series - Aaron Paul
  • Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series - Anna Gunn

It was their final year and they cleaned up!
