Some comments on wiki from the producers suggest they have thought it through and are not just making it up as they go along. Thing is, I thought we heard that from the producers of both BSG and Lost and look how that turned out?
I'll Sky+ it, then I can limit the damage to my commitment by FFing through the adverts at least.

Thought it was ok, bit annoying how it kept jumping timeframes every couple of minutes, but i think i'll stick it out for another few episodes and see how it goes.
The brunette one was definitely hotter, and dirtier.
+1 made the mistake of answering a call of nature and came back to find it was somewhere totally different to where is was when I left, 1st episode was a little too much bouncing around. 2nd one was better and less fragmented. The brunette one was definitely hotter, and dirtier.
Oh yeah definately the brunette
We have just seen it and I thnk it has the potential to be a good series, it has enough intrigue and tin-foil-hattery to keep me happy and it seems to have two hot women in it too, i will buck the trend by suggesting I prefer the blondie one, I think she is hotter. you lot can keep "vicky" I prefer "leila" More bikini goodness going on.
I am glad its winter because I would not have even entertained the notion of switching the TV on let alone planned ahead by putting the Skybox magic trick box on to record this while I was out.

5. but 5 with promise.
They are obviously trying hard not to be or emulate LOST, they are answering questions quite quickly and after the first episode the timeline stopped flashing about all over the place.
As the characters settle and the actors find their groove it ought to pan out to be good.
Potential. Its cold and wet here in Cornwall. What the hell else am i going to do ?

i thought it was actually pretty poor - typical us prime-time gash, completely lacking in any flair or believable characterisation.
not a patch on the first 2 episodes of either Lost or the X-files, which i believe it has been compared to.
But remember how badly they finished lost ....not a patch on the first 2 episodes of either Lost or the X-files, which i believe it has been compared to.
The Event is definitely improving, its getting more coherent .... probably down to them reducing the jumping around in time.
