How crap was the Lynda La Plante thing on over the last 3 nights, poor acting, weak story line and a ending like she just couldn't be bothered trying....that's 3 hours of my life I want back.

Hmmm. I wasn't sure if I enjoyed it or not. It was a weird one and nowhere as good as Silent Witness.

I liked the birds breast though smile

At least she finally realised right at the end, when trying to run across a field, that high heels are not practical footwear for a detective.

I don't want to spoil the ending, but it turns out to be the milkman who did it.

Lynda La Plante lost my respect a few years back when she put out a miniseries that was a blatant (but unacknowledged) rip off of The Vanishing. Her original series were great, but just going through the motions now....?

Yep, I actually enjoyed it. Perhaps thats because I have a secret crush on Travis.

I've just watched it on itv player. Not the ending I expected to be honest, what was all that about at the very end, the bit that Langton said.

God knows. I had to sit through all 3 parts back-to-back last night to placate SWMBO and by that point I'd got through a fair amount of Cab. Sauv. so the ending was a bit of a blur drunk

I couldn't really take it seriously because it was all so unrealistic.

One of the silliest mistakes was right at the start when they were collecting evidence where the shooting had happened and you clearly saw someone putting a spent semi-auto case into a bag, yet it transpired the gun used was a .38 revolver.

So all the way through, I was expecting a twist later on when they reveal another person was involved and fired the 3rd shot with a different gun.

Now that might have made the ending a bit more interesting...

Talking of silly mistakes, the Boxster had different wheels when it was upside down than when she got in it. Poor imo.

Silent Witness on Sky+,hopefully it is better.
