Thanks. Taking my 7 yr nephew. Is the 3D effective?

I don't want to see this film out of principle - I watched that bloody Orange/Gullivers Travels advert puppet thing so many times. mad

I have not seen it but it's definitely a good case for 500 year copyrights.

Have to admit I quite enjoyed the film, mainly for the guy out of the IT crowd playing the baddy. Pretty sure kids would like it too.

With regards to the 3D, don't bother as it is barely noticable, obviously just tacked on as an afterthought.

Does it cover just Lilliput, or Brobdingnab and Laputa and the land of the Yahoos and so on?

It was the first 3D film I'd seen. I thought it was pretty impressive. Definitely going to watch more now that I've got a pair of glasses. wink
