As well as using the Edwardian `It' girl's handbook The Woman and the Car, she receives advice from motoring historians and car enthusiasts, while Dorothy's story is further illustrated by archive material from the period in which she became the first British woman to compete in a motor race.

Anyone who is interested in motoring history I think would enjoy this especially the detours to Brooklands and the Rolls-Royce heritage club (I think that's what they were called)
