Thunderbirds are go!

Forgot to mention that if you pause the opening titles at the right point (it's 1:32 in episode 3) you can clearly see an 'R' at the top of the FAB 1 radiator.
ETA - Have just watched the Reggie Yates 'making of' documentary and can now confirm that the lettering on the rad actually reads 'IR' for International Rescue.
'Fireflash' next week - wonder what sort of a job they'll make of that.

According to Wikipedia it should have 26 episodes. At the moment there have been 13 episodes aired. I suspect that the other 13 are being held to make the break until the 2nd season seem shorter.

Watched the first 3, I'm guessing I didn't miss much in the other 10?

The old series just can not be beaten.
Rant Over.
Some of the physics is pretty shaky too, such as accelerating the spin of TB5 to use it as a winch, and John still being alive after experiencing 20g while lying on the floor.
And pushing the asteroid sideways to prevent it from falling into the sun - why didn't they do that at the outset instead of leaving it to the end as a last resort?

I think that highlights the difference between this and the original. Gerry Anderson thought he was making TV drama. This production team figure they are making a program for little kids, too young to question the science. And pushing the asteroid sideways to prevent it from falling into the sun - why didn't they do that at the outset instead of leaving it to the end as a last resort?
