Did anyone watch this last night?

Some superb shooting by the Jesse James chaps.... The guy was able to draw and shoot and hit the target in 0.245 seconds or so.

Saw this when it was on originally, and that is a good episode to watch too

Actually what I was most surprised about was the effects of being stuck by a 6 shooter, in the movies people don't get 100% fatal depressed skull fractures.

The show is of course the biggest load of old bks as it's not like the modern peoples "skills" are in anyway comparable to what the "deadly warriors" actually did to each other back in the day. In the old west ambush, shooting people in the back or cornering people in buildings appears to have been the norm.

BTW the prevailing view of the "independent umpire" the British Army is that the Taliban would have ripped the IRA a new one....

Yes, I was quite shocked at how much damage that smack in the head did as well, I didn't think he'd hit it that hard.

And yes, it is a bit cr@p all things considered (the ninja episode where the Ninja engaegd in open warfare was a bit odd) but I do like watching the weapon experts show just what can be done. I mean, 2000 year old spears which went straight through the armour and body and back out the other side - ouch !!

Well yes, a lot of it is based on supposed experts, and what they say, but as jasandjules said, just watching how weapons that are today regarded as obsolete, can do so much damage is just fascinating
