I couldn't find a thread about how st this show is and this evenings episode has made my piss boil !

As usual the Guardian reading tts who write and host the show have decided to give the bankers a good booting again for the 3rd week running.

This week it was about the corporation tax that Barclays paid this year. Obviously they didn't mention the fact that tax is only due on UK profits not worldwide.

Would have been good if they actually mentioned the fact that their favourite paper hasn't paid UK tax for the last 2 years and is incorporated in that very British area of Grand Cayman.

Sorry there's not a lot of swearing in this but I did hurl loads of abuse at the tts on the screen.

Now Bob Crowe is slamming the bankers , he's another fking tt !

But two of them are Guardian columnists. It's quite likely the programme was going to be left leaning...

Because a lot of what he said sounded good (not all but some), it's the way he phrases it, by making it seem that what he is against is street lights being switched off and pensioners being thrown on a bonfire. Everyone can sound good on soundbites.

Yup, it's a technique that the world's nastiest men have always been good at.

I watched 10 mins of the first episode and left it at that. Was hugely disappointing.

I watched about 3 of them and sacked it off, just seemed like one big right-on rant without being funny.

I watched the first one and it doesn't seem to have changed from what you lot are saying. I couldn't really care less if it is right on or if they bash bankers every week - the only thing that matters in a comedy program is being funny. This isn't.

I gave it a chance and saw it was the usual smug left wing humour and haven't watched it since.

Saw the ads for it and it seems they want to be a "lefty" Top Gear. They fail spectacularly!!!

I wanted this to be good, it had some good ingredients...
Carr, Mitchell, cute blonde, some other guy

But it was pure dross, as if they've got the worst script writers from the end of Spitting Image.
