The new series of Megafactories starts on Wednesday at 9pm on National Geographic and HD, the first episode is about the Mercedes SLS.

Enjoy!

The 599, R8, Murcielago and Veyron docs are great. I haven't seen the Porsche one but looking forward to this.

Bugatti documentary is being shown on the same channel immediately after the SLS programme.

Looks like they will be doing Maserati the following week: http://natgeotv.com/uk/megafactories/about

Thanks for the heads up - would have missed this otherwise.

Just finished watching, loved the engine section, fantastic attention to detail. A joy to see people creating something without a clock-watcher standing behind them clutching a time and motion study report!

It's repeated at midnight and 3pm Thursday, if you missed it..

I enjoyed it, but i felt it was let down by inaccuracies from the narrator.

IE calling a timing chain a belt, rocker cover ect.

Anyone see the Masser one? What the fk was up with the background music, it sounded like the batteries on the cd player were going flat.

Was really off putting
