Have just finished season 4. In the past I've always waited for the box set to come out on DVD rather than messing around with streaming services to get the latest season as soon as it's available.
Bugger waiting. Who do I have to pay to let me watch season 5 when it arrives rather than waiting for the box set?

You could try Now TV - http://watch.nowtv.com/entertainment/channels/sky-... - buy a Chromecast for ~£20 to stream it to your TV and use the 3 months free Now TV entertainment offer they provide if they still do it, time it to cover Game of Thrones. Or just pay for the time it on, you can cancel at any time.

That could work, I've got an HTPC and stream a fair bit already so could make some use of that 3 months. Not switching to Sky though, they can't come close to the broadband speeds I'm currently getting.
Cheers.
Just had a look at what offers are on there (as I have used some myself) the Now TV one might run out today !
http://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/of...
But then a Now TV subscription entertainment subscription is only £6.99 per month, runs on a monthly basis and you get everything else with it as well.

I envy you. Everything in one go.
4 series, 10 1hr episodes in each. You'll probably be ready for series 5 by 4:30 tomorrow morning then
Yes, love this show. I had seasons 1 and 2 lent to me by friends over a year ago but never got around to watching them. Finished season 1 last night and have the box set on the way with all 4 seasons so I can carry on till the end.4 series, 10 1hr episodes in each. I did the same with the walking dead prior to the start of season 5 last year. Trouble is you get spoiled by watching these shows in blocks and now it’s a bit of a drag having to wait a week for each episode. I also find the ad breaks pretty distracting.

Halb, have you seen the feature about how the Giants and Mammoths were shot in 4.09?
Apparently the Giants are the two tallest people in the UK, one is just under 8 feet tall
I haven't. Though I did a bit of reading/researching on them when it aired. Neil Fingleton has been in a few things, he was in a doc about tall people years ago. And I know that Whyte has had a few roles in GoT, he was the second mountain. Apparently the Giants are the two tallest people in the UK, one is just under 8 feet tall
GoT must have one of the tallest casts around, the shortest person in the top ten is 6'3.
If you watch carefully you can see one giant is taller than the other.

Off on holiday in a couple of weeks and need some reading material. Has anyone (Im guessing a few of you have) read World of Ice and Fire?
Word of warning folks. World of Ice and Fire turned up...its freaking HUGE! About the size of a school atlas ffs...no way I can use it as a 'holiday read'. Have to save it for another time and go book hunting again.Calza said:
