Game of Thrones - No spoilers

Does anyone else think that Dany can't or shouldn't "win"? If this show has any real continuity she actually can't win in my opinion. She's constantly failed, she has next to no control over her dragons which are her greatest assets (and Drogon has shown to be weak against relatively small forces). She can't control 3 cities yet thinks she'll be able to control 7 kingdoms? Also she's consistenly said she would get rid of the "wheel", how has that turned out? She can't expect to rule without the ruling classes. Look what getting rid of the wheel has done to Mereen, Yunkai and Astopor. It's almost like the show is giving her an easier time.
Well it sounds like the show runners have managed to make the same point as the books but in far shorter time! The whole point about Dany's arc in the later books is that no-one can rule effectively without both the "right" advisors and, usually, great knowledge of the people you are ruling. Dany's sparks of genius make her a great conqueror but she makes blunder after blunder in the books, but less so in the show.
I will give her a break on the dragons as no one for centuries has known how to control them (hence why they were later locked away before "wasting away")
It is why many book readers think that Tyrion will end up being her Hand. Dany knows how to conquer and Tyrion, well more book Tyrion, knows how to rule.
Good episode in general
A few moments of writing absurdity like the Mountain stealthily stalking the streets of Kings landing dealing out his own kind of justice, but we expect that these days.
But overall very good.
I think the rite of resurrection only works (at times) when the red priest/priestess performing it has lost their faith.
The spoilers for the books seem logical and based on what many have believed for years.

This Euron greyjoy chappie that threw Balon off the bridge.
Where's he come from?
Is it his first appearance?
He is one of Balon's younger brotherWhere's he come from?

He has spent the last few years as a pirate.
He was referred to in the first season along with Victarion (the other brother) when Tyrion was talking to Theon about witnessing them raiding Lannisport.
We also met Aeron the Drowned Priest in service to the Drowned God (the youngest of the 4 Greyjoy brothers)

Ok, since none of us know right now, is Jon-
C/ Some monstrous in between thing like the Mountain or Lady Stoneheart?
C - The Mountain hasn't been brought back by that type of magic. We've only seen Beric come back like that and he comes back the same, just with a bit of 'him' missing.C/ Some monstrous in between thing like the Mountain or Lady Stoneheart?

What's the rule for discussing next week's preview?
45 seconds after 10pm?
That should give 10 seconds to google and 35 seconds to watch it?
I cannot fathom what your problem is. From my POV, the latest episode can be talked about anytime after the show's airing. In this instance, 10pm on a Monday evening.45 seconds after 10pm?

You do know that you're not legally obliged to look at this thread before you have seen it, if you cannot watch it when aired.

As for the preview, next week looks to be another good one!

However, what's wrong about speculating about a 30 second preview. After all, all people are doing is speculating!
In that case...
I guess Bran will have another vision of Ned at the Tower of Joy as the dialogue in the preview is exactly as it is in the book, and we'll find out if our maths was correct.
Then Bran will travel to the wall and tell 'Jon' who he his parents really are.
All IMHO of course

Ramsay is no Joffrey, that's for sure.
I can't help but feel like Ramsay is a one-note as a character, I mean he's pretty much a comic book villain. I'm not sure if we the audience was supposed to empathise with him when he was a Snow, or let it slide that he was a massive psycho d**k to people because he was trying to impress his father, or whatever. Either way I don't think it worked.
Joffrey on the other hand, I felt, was portrayed as a more nuanced character. He was manifestly malevolent but the show suggested that he was a product of his environment, and nurturing, and young age & inexperience. When he waved to the crowd because Margaery did it illustrated subtly his inexperience, etc. He was at his core a sociopath of course, but it wasn't completely black and white. Ramsay on the other hand is just chewing the scenery with his plot device eating dogs.
