Maybe its my age, maybe they have finally run out of jokes but I just dont find it amusing anymore.

Its become way to formulaic for a start.
Moe saying Whaaaaaaaat.
The Homer flyaway saying Whyyyyyyyyyy.
Lisa saying 'Its XXXXX from XXXXX what are you doing here'.
Homer giggling like a schoolgirl.

Perhaps they really should have killed it off after the film?

Am I the only one that thinks this?

To be honest I am finding Futurama far better. As for Family Guy I dont find that funny either.

Get out! Family Guy is hilarious and I won't hear a bad word said against it.

A lot of the newer Simpsons are not as funny as the older classics. All the Conan O'Brian produced ones are the best.

I have tried so hard to like American Guy and my friend has often told me to switch on to an eye watering episode but I cannot see it.
Maybe I will try and watch from the start or can someone point out some really good ones.

I still think 'Benders Big Score' was wasted as a direct to video and would have made a far better film release than The Simpsons clanger. Personally I still think they got it the wrong way round.

Try the "Blue Harvest" episode, it's a Star Wars spoof although I guess a lot of its humours comes from the character casting and knowing what the characters are like in their "normal" roles.

Like all comedy shows they are hit and miss. There are times I barely even raise a smile at Family Guy, American Dad is similar. Futurama is a really clever show it's a shame it's not still being produced there was plenty of mileage left in it, even the animation is leagues ahead of most other comedy cartoon shows. I still enjoy The Simpsons, the last few I saw made me laugh more than Due Date I rented recently.

I have to disagree with you on this. Both FG and AD are two of the most unfunny programmes on tv today. Maybe it's because i'm getting old, but neither of those two programmes are what i would deem to be funny

The Simpsons has been pretty bad for quite a few series now. Just not funny anymore and needs to be put to bed. The film was crap aswell.

Family Guy can be a bit hit and miss, but some parts are just genius.

South Park on the other hand, aside from a couple of poorish series just seems to get funnier.

The Simpsons - They don't hit it bang on as much as they used to but it's still great viewing. Sure some of the jokes are a little 'old' but their not approaching "Nice to see you..." levels yet smile

Family Guy - Very funny most of the time. Sometimes it gets very close to the bone and no one or group is left out from being targeted. As with the Simpsons there are good and bad episodes but on the whole it's good to watch.

The Cleveland(sp?) Show - I have tried, honest I have, but i just don't really gel with it.

American Dad - jury is out. Saw a few, thought it was pants. Saw a few more and laughed myself stupid. Watched a couple on Monday night and i'm not even sure a smile passed my lips.

As for the others, not really been bothered by them.

I'm over it too.

I didn't watch one for years, not having Sky until recently I was stuck with the same 30-40 shows C4 show on a loop every evening so I didn't bother. Now I've got Sky I find the new ones are pretty lame, they've lost a certain edge I think some previous ones were almost risky with very feint drug references and the like which gave the adults a giggle whilst it went over kids heads - which to me was always the clever thing about the show.

I liked the Movie, it could never live up to the hype, just wasn't possible but he first 45 mins or so, bascially upto the point the family have left the dome is some of the finest Simpsons material I've ever seen, after that it slowed right up and got a bit boring.

I watched it religiously when I was younger, but just had to give up- it not funny anymore.

FG on the other hand just is brilliant, it is one of the few shows that make me laugh out loud on a regular basis. The last series has been abit weak, but there were still some crackers.

Futurama, I used to love this back when it was on originally, but cannot remember why. I watch it now and it just isn't funny.
