Discussion
Full theatrical trailer now released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHRf01Gjosk
As much as I didn't like the second one, I've got to say this one looks f'in pretty good.
For those that missed it, the teaser trailer which was released in December, can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3H8bnKdf654

For fear of being ridiculed, that looks pretty much like more of the same. Thin excuse for a plot, followed by 90 minutes of robots hitting each other. Zzz.
Er, that's the whole point. That's all Transformers was EVER about! What's the alternative, all the Transformers sit around a coffee table and talk out their problems and everyone lives happily ever after?Just saying...

If only!! Instead it will be mostly Shia lest trying to act through most of it with some stupid bimbo...if only it could be wall to wall transformers!!PhillT said:

I had a longer post. But this will do.Its not a film for you, so you get nob status for offering an opinion.

More brain out smashy smashy with giant fighting robots. I approve. OK some laughable acting and no end of predictable last minute saves for the hooomans, but it's Transformers not Pride & Prejudice. Works for me I guess, and it looks like no Megan Fox, which can only be seen as a bonus. Plus I'll be in Vegas when it's released, so it'd be rude not to catch it on the big screen there.

Bit harsh. I want to like the Transformers films as I loved the cartoons as a kid. I also love action films generally - with cars and fighting robots there are good ingredients for some kick-ass stuff with a bit of depth to it as well. Its not a film for you, so you get nob status for offering an opinion.

But the previous two were disappointing as they were unnecessarily mindless when they could have been ace if someone had given some thought to a decent plot and interesting characters. Sadly this one looks like more of the same CGI showreel stuff.
Someone persuade Chris Nolan to take over the franchise.

WTF Robots hitting each other - check
Lots of daft violence - check
No storyline, leave the brain at home - check
This film is going to be good, but no Megan Fox - booooo, we need skimpy denim hotpants, sexy poses over cars & bikes, oily bits (yummmmmm) ad that will make it a classic.
I don't care how thick she is, or how bad her acting is. I want to see more of this
